Accredited First Aid Training Courses

Safer UK delivers accredited first aid training across Sussex for businesses and individuals. Our courses are designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in an emergency. Training can take place at your workplace or at our Eastbourne centre.

We offer a range of aid training options, including:

Each course is led by experienced instructors and focuses on practical learning, using real scenarios to help you build confidence and apply your skills. Assessment is carried out through practical demonstrations throughout the course.

TRAINING course

Emergency First Aid at Work - 1 Day

This one day course is ideal for low risk workplaces. It provides a clear introduction to first aid and covers essential life saving skills.

Topics include:

  • Understanding responsibilities and reporting
  • Assessing an incident
  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
  • CPR and use of an AED
  • Choking, bleeding and minor injuries
  • Burns and basic first aid care

This course is accredited and valid for three years.

TRAINING course

First Aid at Work - 3 Day

Our three day course provides a higher level qualification for higher risk workplaces and covers a wide range of injuries and  conditions, including:

  • Incident assessment and casualty care
  • CPR, AED use and resuscitation
  • Major injuries, bleeding and shock
  • Fractures, spinal injuries and head injuries
  • Medical conditions such as asthma, stroke and diabetes
  • Anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions

This course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety First Aid Regulations 1981 and results in a Level 3 qualification.
