Safer is one of a limited number of fit2fit approved training providers in the UK
Our “Train the Tester” Course is designed for companies who wish to conduct Face Fit Testing on their own employees. This can be a cost-effective way of ensuring you have someone available within your organisation with the knowledge and skills to conduct face fit testing when required.
This training course is accredited and meets the requirements of the fit2fit approval scheme, please look us up on the fit2fit register of approved training courses.
Course duration is one day.
You can also purchase a Face Fit Testing kit through our online shop, you will need a kit for the training and ongoing to test your staff.
Please Note: Courses will run based on a minimum of four delegates, safer reserves to right to cancel or reschedule the course if the minimum number of delegates is not reached.
Accredited Qualitative Face Fit ‘Train the Tester’ Course
We are an approved fit2fit training provider and are registered on the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) fit2fit website. Our ‘Train the Tester’ course is an accredited course, which means our course content has been verified by fit2fit to ensure it is fully compliant with HSE requirements.
Duration
Our Accredited Qualitative Face Fit ‘Train the Tester’ course is a One Day course. Furthermore, our course is a minimum of 8 hours face to face training with our highly experienced trainers.

Knowledge of RPE
The Role of Fit Tester
Principles of Fit Testing
Fit Test Methods
Certification
A summative practical assessment is conducted by the instructor at the end of each day, along with a written assessment. Furthermore, successful delegates will receive a 3-year certificate.
Numbers
Courses are based on a minimum of four delegates.
Course Requirements
The delegates attending the course would need to bring a mask as they are required to conduct a face fit test on each other as part of their assessment.
For both the course and ongoing to test your own staff, delegates require a Qualitative Face Fit Testing kit.

The training centre is accessed via Compton Place Road and there is free onsite or on road parking. Eastbourne town centre is within a short walk with its mainline railway station servicing Brighton, London and Ashford International.
